1st & 2nd grade Science
Students will learn basic science concepts as we study topics such as: how plants grow, where animals live, how light works, and more. During our weekly class time, students will participate in hands-on activities that review and solidify topics students have covered in their text reading and worksheets that will be completed at home. Every activity is taught with a biblical worldview, to help your child understand that God is the foundation of all things! Come have fun with us and learn about God’s creation!

Masters in Education
Krystal graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (go Rams!) with a Masters in Teaching. She has spent the past six years teaching for both Henrico County and Chesterfield County. Her experience ranges from early childhood education and elementary school, to tutoring high school and college students in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and English. She is passionate about supporting students both academically and spiritually, and is excited to have the opportunity to teach the whole child. Krystal has the privilege of doing life with her wonderful husband, Josh, and two beautiful daughters, McKayla (9) and Shayne (5). While she is newer to the homeschooling scene, she is so grateful to be a part of the Bridge Academy community!
