Digital Design

Teacher: Jordan Kincaid 

Course Description: Learn the tech savvy ways of a Digital Graphic Designer! Students will be taught how to navigate through the Adobe Suite, mainly through the use of Photoshop and Illustrator. Using these programs students will have the opportunity to create industry quality work. This is a slightly more advanced course for those who have already taken Graphic Design or are already familiar with digital art. Drawing and illustration techniques will also be taught.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their computer meets the minimum requirements to run the digital software and/or apps.

Prerequisite:  Unless students have successfully completed Graphic Design or Drawing classes, please contact Miss Kincaid to discuss previous experience and guidelines for submitting a work sample.

Copy fee: $10.00 (check written to Jordan Kincaid due at Orientation or the first class).

Tuition fee: $390.00 ($39.00/month for 10 months - August-May or $44.00/month if prorated or on a 9 month payment plan)

Jordan Kincaid 
B.A. Communication Arts

Jordan graduated from VCU in 2016 with a B.A. in Communication Arts. She is currently a freelance Illustrator and is contracted with Owl Crate Worldwide and McGraw-Hill and has most recently joined the Bridge Academy family.  Bridge Academy students will be very pleased with the most up-to-date and fresh ideas she plans to present in her classes: Drawing, Graphic Design, and Digital Design. She and her mother, Allison Kincaid (also teaches Art at Bridge Academy), will be co-leaders of the Yearbook Club.
