Course Description: This course has SO much to offer, and will be using the brand-new third edition of The Good and the Beautiful Level 2 Language Arts curriculum (RELEASED AND READY TO PURCHASE IN JULY) . It is full of beauty and ease, and thoroughly includes phonics, reading, writing, grammar usage, punctuation, vocabulary, geography, and art appreciation and instruction! We will be integrating and encouraging a love of poetry and nature into our studies as well. This course is full of fun and engaging lessons, while still keeping them light and allowing for a full weeks worth of work to be done in only 4 days.

    The Good and the Beautiful Level 2 Language Arts, (3rd edition) (RELEASED AND READY TO PURCHASE IN JULY-please do not purchase the current edition for this course)

Copy/Supply fee: $30 (check written to Jackie Fowler due at Orientation or at the first class)

Tuition fee: $340.00 ($34/month for 10 months, August - May or $38/month if prorated or on a 9 month payment plan)

Jackie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in English and Radio, TV, and Motion Pictures. After graduation, she worked as a writer for the 5:00 and 10:00 newscast at WRAL - TV in Raleigh, NC. She decided to leave her job at the TV station to pursue her desire to teach and became certified in English Education. She has taught middle and high school English =, honors English, Political Economics and Legal Systems, Music, and Drama while in the classroom. She holds a Master's degree in Library Science and was a school librarian before leaving to homeschool her first child. Her husband is a military chaplain and they have five children. She loves spending time with her family and is thankful the Lord used the army to bring her to the area.
