Bridge Academy

Psalm 32:8

English  3

Course Description: Using Writing and Rhetoric as our foundational text, students will learn the art of writing well and speaking persuasively. This text is founded on the idea that children should learn how to write by working from models rather than by dreaming up their own ideas. So students work through models of various forms of writing, beginning with narratives. Books 1 and 2 of the series use fables and stories from ancient Greece and Rome. We will cover writing, speaking, grammar and various stories in class.
