Course Description: Using Writing and Rhetoric as the foundational text, students will learn the art of writing well and speaking persuasively. This text is founded on the idea that children improve their writing skills by reading excellent literature and imitating those writers. Students work through models of various forms of writing, beginning with narratives. The first two books of the series use fables, stories from ancient Greece and Rome, and other tales. In class, we will cover writing, speaking, grammar, and stories. Games and activities will be incorporated to make learning fun!
