English 3
Course Description: Using Writing and Rhetoric as the foundational text, students will learn the art of writing well and speaking persuasively. This text is founded on the idea that children improve their writing skills by reading excellent literature and imitating those writers. Students will read fables, parables, and other tales; then they will use them as a guide for their own writing. In class, we will cover reading, writing, speaking, and grammar. Students will have an opportunity to share their creative stories with the class. Games and activities will be incorporated to make learning fun!
