English 3
English 3 will focus on grammar, writing, spelling, and reading. We will be learning about parts of speech, writing across various genres, spelling patterns and strategies for application, dictionary and thesaurus skills, as well as literature that links to content areas and life skills.
Students will be required to complete lessons in their English and Spelling workbooks as well as read 1 chapter from their assigned novels each week; we will read 2 books this year.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Amy Price
B.A. Elementary Education
Amy graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Elementary Education. She has taught on multiple levels, in various states, and in the public and private school settings. God laid the desire to homeschool on her heart and confirmed it many times over. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, and reading. Her heart is to make room to experience the presence of God not only personally, but corporately as well. She is thankful for the opportunity to share in His goodness at the Bridge!
