Effective, beautiful lessons fill Level 3 Language Arts! The Good and the Beautiful's (TGATB) very first poetry collection, I Sat by the Sea, is woven into the Level 3 lessons to increase reading fluency and vocabulary and to instill beautiful language patterns in children’s minds. Along with an updated reader and beautiful course book, you and your child will love the open-and-go, streamlined lessons that combine multiple subjects into one full-year course.
This class includes phonics, reading, writing, spelling, grammar, usage, punctuation, vocabulary, geography, and art appreciation and instruction. It beautifully integrates and encourages a love of poetry, nature, high character and wholesome, powerful literature. This curriculum takes a faith-based, non-denominational Christian approach, reviewed by a team of more than 30 editors representing many Christian denominations; focuses on very basically Biblical principles such as kindness and honesty.

Copy fee: $30 (given to Julia Poynter due at Orientation or the first class attended)
Tuition fee: $340.00 ($34/month for 10 months, August - May or $38/month if prorated or on a 9 month payment plan)

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Julia Poynter
B.S. in Public Health
Julia is a former Bridge Academy student who was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school. She and her husband live in Chesterfield, Virginia, along with their one-year-old daughter, Kenzie. Julia knows what it takes to successfully homeschool, and she earned a full academic scholarship to college. In three years, Julia earned her degree from Liberty University, completing the requirements of the Honors Program and graduating summa cum laude. During her college years, she worked as an intern for the Communications Coordinator at Richmond City Health District. Additionally, she worked for Central Virginia Health District in the Population Health department. Julia has considerable experience in tutoring, editing, and working with children. She was an English major before switching her degree to Public Health. Julia loves academics and has a hard time picking her favorite subject. She is excited to be back at Bridge Academy, assisting homeschool families.
