Fun with Food
Description: Instead of eating to get full, we will discover why choosing certain foods over others helps our bodies grow & develop. Reviewing the 5 food groups and tasting foods from each will exposure our palates to new experiences and exciting adventures as we learn what makes a healthy snack, how to prepare healthy foods & snacks, and how to make good food choices. We will work with kitchen tools both familiar and new ones but always focus of Safety First!! As we learn about Blessing others and the importance of sharing, we will prepare treats for our community.
Required Materials: A genuine interest in learning more about food.
Copy/Supply fee: $40.00 (check written to Lynn Snipes due at Orientation or the first class)
Annual tuition: $350.00 ($33/month for 10 months, August- May or $37/month if prorated or on a 9 month payment plan)
