Geography with Social Studies
Course Description: As students blaze a trail around the world, they will be able to recognize the important characteristics of each continent, read and create maps, identify geographical terms, and learn about various cultures and customs. While traveling through continents, students will create a geography notebook of their “travels”. Not only will students research and learn information about each country visited, but they will also experience it through art, food, and more. The teacher text, Trail Guide to World Geography, will be utilized as the basis for our class.
