This class will provide a thorough study of geometry concepts at the high school level. Topics covered will include lines, planes, angles, polygons, circles, perimeter and area analysis, volume and surface area analysis, similarity and congruence, constructions, deductive and inductive reasoning, application of postulates and theorems, and more. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate to logical reasoning. The class will meet twice a week.

Karyn graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration. She has worked in the business world as a manager, a buyer, and a bookkeeper. In addition, she has experience in proofreading and editing for a textbook publisher. Karyn and her husband have three children and have been homeschooling for nineteen years. Her daughter is in high school. Her sons are now homeschool graduates, and by God's provision, both received full academic scholarships to college. Karyn has tutored and taught co-op classes in a variety of subjects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
