Life Science

Description: This course introduces new plant features and flower families; also, it builds upon the systems of the body, and how all of them work together to help you function. Learn about marsupials of the mammals; flight motions of birds; types of scales on fish; dinosaurs and similar types of reptiles; and the anatomy of amphibians. Also discuss the helpful aspects of insects, classifications within microbiology, and functions of forests. 


Required text:  Science Order & Design, Abeka 2018, textbook, activity manual and test booklet


Copy & Supply/lab fee: $30 (paid directly to Becky Angelilli due at Orientation or the first day of class)


Annual tuition: $390.00 ($39.00/month for 10 months, August – May or $44/month if prorated for 9 months or less)

Becky Angelilli

B.S. in Criminal Justice


Becky graduated from VCU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She worked with the Chesterfield County Police as an Evidence Technician. She was among the first civilians hired to complete the crime scene investigations for the department. Becky has lived in the area her entire life. She has two boys who also attend Bridge Academy. Becky and her family have a heart for missions both locally and internationally.  They have been traveling to Nicaragua for the past 6 years, where they have made lifelong friendships.
