Course Description: This high school class presents a well-rounded approach to teaching high schoolers the basic life skills needed to be an independent and responsible adult. This course will touch on a variety of topics to include, but not limited to: Communication, Budgeting/Taxes, Basic Sewing (patch that hole in a sock or put a button on), Basic Cooking, Personal finance (Making major purchases, stocks, etc.), Leadership, Basics in voting/voting rights, and Relationships with God.
Supply/copy fee: $TBD (check written to Becky Angelilli due at Orientation or on the first day of class)
Annual tuition: $350.00 per year ($35.00/month for 10 months, August – May or $39 if prorated or on a 9 month payment plan)
B.S. in Criminal Justice
Becky graduated from VCU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She worked with the Chesterfield County Police as an Evidence Technician. She was among the first civilians hired to complete the crime scene investigations for the department. Becky has lived in the area her entire life. She has two boys who also attend Bridge Academy. Becky and her family have a heart for missions both locally and internationally. They have been traveling to Nicaragua for the past 6 years, where they have made lifelong friendships.
