Math 7

Description: This course will provide a solid review of foundational arithmetic skills and expand on math concepts taught in earlier grades.  Students will gain an understanding of numbers and operations which will help them progress more quickly and confidently in higher level math courses.  Topics covered will include whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, integers, measurement, probability and statistics, geometry, and more.  Activities and games will be incorporated to encourage students to practice their math skills. The class will meet twice a week.

Copy fee: $20.00 (paid to Susan Tignor at Orientation or the first class attended)


Annual tuition: $480.00 ($48.00/month for 10 months, August-May or $54/month if prorated or on a 9-month payment plan)

Susan Tignor
B.A. in Psychology
M.A. in Psychology with an Endorsement in Guidance Counseling

Susan graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Psychology.  She then received her M.A. in Psychology from James Madison University and an endorsement in Guidance Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Susan and her husband, Rob, have two children.  Lucy is a junior at Liberty University, and Christopher is in tenth grade at Bridge Academy.  Susan taught math at Elkhart-Thompson Middle School and at Banner Christian school for seven years.  She is excited for the opportunity to teach math at Bridge Academy.
