In this course students will be introduced to the world they live in and the universe around them. Topics of study center around the physical world and include the atmosphere, hydrosphere, weather, structure of the earth, environmentalism, physics of motion, Newton’s Laws, gravity, and astrophysics. Labs will be performed in class to help students grasp the concepts presented. Students will also keep an interactive notebook to help them learn the material presented in the text.
