Bridge Academy

Psalm 32:8

Description: This class will build the foundation necessary for Algebra 1 and is the next step after successfully taking Math 7.  We will review and master concrete concepts of arithmetic and transition into the more abstract concepts of algebra.  Topics covered will include order of operations, exponents, radicals, ratios, probability, percent, word problems, scientific notation, relations, functions and introductory algebra. The class will meet twice a week.

Students joining a math class at Bridge Academy for the first time will be required to take a placement test before securing their registration in a specific math class for the 2020/2021 school year.
