Bridge Academy

Bridge Academy is excited to announce a new program for students in grades 9-12.  The Chick fil-A Leader Academy is a national leadership program in hundreds of schools.  Their motto, Impact Through Action, aligns with BA’s strong belief in servant leadership. Chick fil-A of Winterpock is graciously sponsoring our school.

Through a unique Engage-Expose-Equip approach, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy involves 30 students in a 7-month curriculum where they learn valuable leadership lessons, culminating in an end-of-program Impact Project. Students will meet once a month for an hour to watch and discuss an engaging video (topics include: teamwork, vision & values, communication and innovation).  They will then plan three service projects based on the core principles; ending the academic year with a large community “impact project”.

These students will also co-lead various high school committees including school spirit, social, service and communication. With the help of adult advisors, they will fully plan and run events that fall under these categories (see back of this page for details.) Students in the leader program will be expected to be role models for younger students and servant leaders in Bridge Academy as well as at home and in the community. Parental support and involvement is encouraged and appreciated.
