Andres Flores
BA Foreign Language/concentration in Spanish, Cum Laude (VCU)
Andres taught Spanish I, Spanish II and Spanish III for the past three years at Matoaca and Richmond high schools and taught basic math classes at Sacred Heart Center. As a member of the Sportbacker Marathon Training Team, he helps train individuals to complete the Richmond Marathon. Andres and his wife Jenny have been married nearly 14 years and were excessively excited to adopted their daughter, who is now two. Shortly after they welcomed their daughter into their home, they were presented with the opportunity to welcome her soon-to-be born brother into their family, which they eagerly accepted. Before Andres and Jenny were parents, they spent a great deal of their summers in Honduras, Andres' birthplace. While in Honduras, Andres volunteered as a youth director and music teacher. In Andres' younger years, he and his dad served as missionaries to the "mountain people" of Honduras as these areas were difficult for outside missionaries to reach. Andres loves teaching and is excited to share his native language with the students and families of Bridge Academy.
