Art K-2nd

This Art class for K-2nd graders was created not only to have fun, but to open the door to creativity. In our younger class, your child will work with different mediums to not only enhance creativity, but also dexterity. We will explore the world of color and texture through the various masterpieces they will create. Your child will learn color mixing and will work with a variety of medias including watercolors, acrylics, and pastels.

REQUIREMENTS

Copy/Supply fee: $50.00 (paid to Mindy VanderLinden at Orientation or at the first class attended)

Tuition fee: $360 ($36/month for 10 months, August-May, or $40/month if prorated)

ABOUT TEACHER

Mindy VanderLinden

B.A. Political Science

Mindy received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from BYU. She is a California native but has also lived in Northern Virginia, Idaho and Utah. Mindy and her family finally settled down in the Richmond area in 2018. She loves it here and couldn’t imagine a better place to raise her family. Mindy has experience working with children as a special education aid in an elementary school, as a swim coach in the summers, and through various church teaching roles throughout the years. She enjoys traveling, gardening, painting, and pretty much any kind of crafting her girls will put up with. She has four children that all attend Bridge Academy.
