Criminal Justice
This course is an introduction to the criminal justice system. The topics covered include the following: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Policing, Courts, and the Corrections. This class is discussion-based and will incorporate many in-class activities. (2025-2026)

Required Texts: None
Supply/copy fee: $40.00 (given to Becky Massey at Orientation or on the first day of class)
Annual tuition: $415 per year ($41.50/month for 10 months, August – May)
ABOUT THE TEACHER

Becky Massey
B.S. in Criminal Justice
Becky began teaching at Bridge Academy in 2017. She graduated from VCU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice. She worked with the Chesterfield County Police as an Evidence Technician. She was among the first civilians hired for crime scene investigations for the department. Becky is currently the Student Ministries Director at Thrive Church. She also oversees the Young Adult Ministry, Celebrate Recovery Ministry and Missions.
Becky has lived in the area her entire life. She has two boys who graduated from Bridge Academy. Becky and her family have a heart for missions both locally and internationally. They have been traveling to Nicaragua for the past 13 years, where they have made lifelong friendships.
