P.E. & Games (4th-6th)

Students will learn to build on previously learned skills. Units covered include: jump rope, parachutes, throwing, and more. In addition, students will learn more competitive small-group activities (relay races, scooter games), group cooperative games(caterpillar and the floor is lava) and more advanced fitness (speed ladder). Finding resting and active heart rates will be a new skill learned as well as how to record those scores. We will also spend time learning more about various body systems including the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, and nervous.

Copy/Supply fee: $20.00 (check written to Tasha West due at Orientation or at the first class)
Annual tuition: $375.00 ($37.50/month for 10 months, August- May, or $42/month if prorated)

Tasha West

B.S. Health & Sports Science
K-12 Health/PE and Driver’s education certified

Tasha was raised in the Sunshine State before relocating to VA to attend the University of Richmond. She earned her B.S in Health and Sports Science and later her Teachers Certification in K-12 Health/PE and Driver’s Education. The bulk of her teaching experience has come at the secondary level, but in recent years she’s expanded to a wider range of age groups which includes early elementary.

Outside of the classroom, Tasha gives her time to her local church serving the needs of the body from Children’s Ministry, Youth and beyond.

Tasha is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Bridge Academy family where teaching is fun, engaging and most importantly Christ-centered.
