Team Sports & Games (6th-12th)
The Team Sports and Games class emphasizes all areas of participation in a variety of sports and games, and is designed to included both novice and experienced students. The focus will be on developing physical and social skills related to team sports and games along with improving upon existing knowledge. Units may include but not limited to the following team sports: basketball, flags football, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, and more.

Copy/Supply Fee: $20 (paid to Tasha West at Orientation or first class attended)
Tuition: $375 ($37.50/month for 10 months, August-May, or $42/month if prorated)
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Tasha West
B.S. Health & Sports Science
K-12 Health/PE and Driver’s education certified
Tasha was raised in the Sunshine State before relocating to VA to attend the University of Richmond. She earned her B.S in Health and Sports Science and later her Teachers Certification in K-12 Health/PE and Driver’s Education. The bulk of her teaching experience has come at the secondary level, but in recent years she’s expanded to a wider range of age groups which includes early elementary.
Outside of the classroom, Tasha gives her time to her local church serving the needs of the body from Children’s Ministry, Youth and beyond.
Tasha is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Bridge Academy family where teaching is fun, engaging and most importantly Christ-centered.
