Youth Entrepreneur: Basics of Business Building

The Young Entrepreneurs course is designed to inspire and equip students with the skills needed to start and manage their own businesses. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students will explore entrepreneurship fundamentals, including business planning, marketing, finance, and management. This course encourages creativity, problem-solving, and leadership, helping students turn their ideas into actionable business ventures. By the end of the course, students will have a foundational understanding of business ownership and the confidence to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. (2025-2026)

REQUIREMENTS

Supply/copy fee: $30 (given to Courtney Mays due at Orientation or the first day of class)
Annual tuition: $415 per year ($41.50/month for 10 months, August – May, or $47/month if prorated)

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Courtney Mays

B.Ed. in Family and Consumer Science

Courtney is passionate about helping students develop practical life skills. She graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Secondary Education: Family and Consumer Science and has years of experience teaching in both the public schools and a homeschool co-op. She loves bringing creativity and real-world applications into the classroom. Outside of teaching, she is also a wife, mother to a 14-month-old, and a part-time wedding floral designer. This will be her first year at Bridge Academy; she is so excited to work with her students, helping them learn valuable skills they can use throughout their lives!
