American Sign Language III
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE 3 - prerequisite - ASL 1 and 2 or evaluation of student’s knowledge by an in-person interview
American Sign Language 3 will continue to increase the student’s knowledge of the language by emphasizing grammatical and semantical aspects. Measurement of comprehension will be done by weekly quizzes and in-class activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Text: No book is required. Students will receive handouts to help them prepare for weekly quizzes and exams.
Copy/supply fee: $30 (check written to Shirley Musik due at Orientation or at the first class)
Tuition: $470 ($47/month for 10 months, August - May, or $53/month if prorated)

Mrs. Musik is a nationally certified interpreter with The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. She has taught Sign Language at the university, community college, high school levels as well as community classes at a variety of churches. She has been in the field of Deafness for more than forty years and loves to teach willing minds. She was married for 35 years and looks forward to joining her husband and son one day in their heavenly home. She is excited to work with the Bridge Academy faculty, staff and students.
