ABOUT THE TEACHER

Stephanie Stanley
Bachelor's of Science
Stephanie is thrilled to be a part of the teaching staff at Bridge Academy! Her passion lies in teaching, studying, and sharing God’s Word. The relationships she has built with her students, both in ministry and in the classroom, are the heartbeat of her career and make every bit of hard work worth it.
Over the last two decades, she has been deeply involved in education through a diverse range of roles. She spent 13 years leading a Bible quiz ministry, where she had the joy of helping kindergarten through sixth-grade students memorize over 500 scriptures with references. Beyond ministry, her teaching experience spans from Middle and High School Bible, History, and Personal Finance, to more recently teaching second grade at a local Christian school.
As a veteran homeschool educator with 14 years of experience, she is a huge fan of the collaborative spirit found within the homeschooling community. Stephanie graduated from VCU in 2005. She has been married to her best friend, Ken, for 23 years. They are blessed to parent six children: three biological sons, Kenneth, Kaleb, and Karson; two adopted daughters from the Philippines, Layka and Alexxandra; and one adopted son from China, Kolton. Their home is also kept lively by two adorable "fur babies." In her free time, you’ll likely find Stephanie cheering on her favorite baseball teams, traveling, exercising, or simply enjoying quality time with her family.
