Music (3rd-5th)

This class introduces children to the foundations of music while nurturing a joyful heart of worship. Through singing, students will explore how music can be used to praise and honor God. Students will learn basic musical concepts, including steady beat, rhythm patterns, pitch (high and low), tempo (fast and slow), and dynamics (loud and soft). Familiar worship songs and simple Scripture-based choruses will help students connect biblical truths to music in meaningful, memorable ways. (Think of those fun VBS Days) Students will also learn the importance of worship in our daily lives. This class creates a joyful, nurturing environment where young learners can grow musically, spiritually, and socially while discovering the joy of making music and worshiping together.
