Anatomy & Physiology

This Anatomy & Physiology course provides an intriguing study of the structure and function of the human body. Students are able to investigate the wonder of God's complex design through laboratory experiences and text-based activities. Topics covered include the following: the major body systems, how the body systems work together to provide homeostasis, blood typing, muscle action, and cranial nerve functioning. Students' lab work also consists of histological study of tissue types and anatomical study of body systems through dissection. (2024-2025)

REQUIREMENTS

Text: Apologia Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology 2nd Edition The Human Body

Copy/Supply fee: $60.00 (given directly to Jennifer Williamson due at Orientation or at the first class attended)

Tuition: $530 ($53/month for 10 months, August-May or $60/month if prorated or on a 9-month payment plan)

Jennifer Williamson

M.S.N Masters in Nursing Education
B.S. in Nursing

Jennifer is a native of Chesterfield County. She attended Radford University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing in 2003. She has 20+ years experience as a Registered Nurse. Jennifer graduated from Liberty University with a Masters Degree in Nursing Education in 2017 and went on to work as a professor for a local University for 3 years. She is currently a full-time wife and homeschool mom to her two boys: Caleb & Chase. She has a passion for learning new things and enjoys singing, gardening, taking beach vacations and family time. She is excited to join Bridge Academy this year!
