Science 3
Come explore the amazing world God created through a Biblical lens! We’ll dive into topics like cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals, plants, ecosystems, matter, sound, energy, minerals, weather, the solar system, and the human body. In class, students will enjoy hands-on learning, discussions, and reading and activity book work. Students will also have weekly homework to reinforce what they’ve learned in class. Join us for a fun and exciting journey of discovery in God’s creation!
REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials: BJU Science 3 Student Text, Activities Manual, and Test Packet, 5th Edition
Copy/Supply Fee: $20.00 (given to coordinating instructor, Jenny Smith or Amy Price, at Orientation or by the first day of class)
Tuition Fee: $370 ($37/month for 10 months, August-May, or $43/month if prorated)

Jenny Smith
B.S. in Biology
Masters in Teaching
Jenny was born and raised in Chesterfield County and holds a Biology degree from Lynchburg College, along with a Master’s in Teaching. She has taught high school science in Chesterfield County Public Schools and is grateful to be part of the Bridge Academy community. Jenny and her husband—her best friend—are raising four children together. Outside the classroom, she enjoys family life, embracing a cozy, home-centered rhythm.
Amy Price
B.A. Elementary Education
Amy is a Longwood University graduate with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught grades K–8 in public and private schools across Georgia, West Virginia, and Virginia. In her sixteenth year of teaching, God placed a desire to homeschool on her heart—a calling He continues to affirm. Amy makes learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable, believing it is an ongoing journey she is honored to share with her students. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, reading, and making memories with her family.
